𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐀𝐒𝐇 ‘𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬’

After years of dedicated service, Mr. Isagani Enero, a respected head teacher of Tugbok National High School, is stepping into a new chapter as he assumes the role of Mintal Elementary School’s Assistant to the School Principal following his successful passing of the recently concluded National Assessment for School Heads (NASH).

This promotion marks not just his personal milestone, but a proud moment for the school community he has long served with commitment and heart.

From being a classroom teacher, he became a curriculum head, and then, a Mathematics Department Head as well as a Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) coordinator of the school. Throughout his career, he consistently exemplified hard work and humility, doing his best to serve with everything he had.

Colleagues describe him as a person who enjoys life and whose words and actions speak volumes. “Sir Enero is a kind of person who is firm with his beliefs and decisions. I believe he is effective as an educator and a leader due to his principles in life. We will surely miss him here in Tugbok NHS,” Ma. Theresa Balaba, a colleague, shared.

As a leader, he believes in collaboration and shared decision-making. “It is important to consistently seek input from others before making decisions,” he said.

This philosophy shaped every initiative he led—guiding his work in various programs and responsibilities.

Mr. Enero also shared his sentiments about leaving Tugbok National high school and the gratitude for the opportunity to lead a new school.

“I’ve been at this school for 13 years. Leaving is bittersweet, as I’ve formed many strong connections here. However, I am grateful and I look forward to this new chapter as I transition to another role,” he expressed.

He emphasized that passing the NASH was not just a personal achievement but a reminder of his purpose as an educator—to serve and inspire.

“It’s very rewarding to know that I passed the NASH. In some ways, it gives me confidence that I can become a better leader,” he said.

His journey from classroom teacher to assistant to the school head stands as a testament to what commitment, humility, and purpose-driven leadership can achieve.

Mr. Enero walks into his new role carrying not just a new title, but the respect of the community he spent 13 years with and the hope of the community he is about to serve.
