Delegation assistant head Jonas Piore is grateful for the resilience of the athletes and coaches despite health threats that they may encounter.

“I believe that the greatest challenge most of our athletes are facing during the DAVRAA 2023 is the threat of COVID-19 and other untimely occurrence of illnesses or ailments due to effects of the scorching heat on our athletes, coaches and chaperones considering the unpredictable weather condition during the day which is beyond our control. The Davao Durians, our athletes and coaches, being healthy and well gives me joy as one of the heads of delegation,” Piore said.
